De AEW Epee Team was victorious at the ‘Alec Jongejans memorial’ tournament in The Hague this weekend. The trophy was contested by a total of 12 teams. On Saturday the 11th of March at our fencing hall all youth  teams won their second equipe meetings. The youngest age group beat Ermelo by 36 to 30 touches. 9th Rhineland Tournament

Op zondag 10 april 2016 werd in sporthal de Wasbeek in Sassenheim voor alweer de 9e keer ons Rijnland AEW Jeugdschermtoernooi verschermd. Met 151 deelnemers was dit het best bezochte Rijnland toernooi tot dusver. AEW was met maar liefst 13 jeugdleden (waarvan 2 van Estec) vertegenwoordigd. AEW success at NK veterans in 2016

Op het Nederlands Kampioenschap Veteranen 2016, gehouden op 13&14 februari in Groningen, is Edwin Treffers Nederlands kampioen geworden in de klasse Veteranen A. In de totale ranking betekende dat een 7e plaats. Debutant Richard van Haaren wist een 29e plaats veilig te stellen op een sterk bezet toernooi.
